9th Annual Flags for Our Heroes

Mark your calendars and spread the word about Magnolia ISD's 9th Annual Flags For Our Heroes event! MISD students, staff and families are invited once again to place American flags to honor the memories of US soldiers and family members who have been laid to rest at the Houston National Cemetery the Saturday before Veteran's Day.

You can participate in the "meet at the cemetery" event on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at 9 a.m. to place flags at the cemetery. (We will meet between the pond and the main part of section S1 for a group picture, then we will place flags)

You can also participate in the flag retrieval event on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at 9 a.m. to retrieve flags which will be returned to Williams Elementary and stored for next year's event. (Volunteers with trucks and/or trailers are greatly appreciated. If anyone can assist in this way, please have them contact me via email at kgustin@magnoliaisd.org)

Current information about this year's event, along with videos, news releases and information about previous year's events can be found at:
