Hi, my name is Angela Ward and I teach 4th grade math and science. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies from Stephen F. Austin State University in 1997. Ax 'em Jacks!
2016-2017 will be my 20th year teaching, all but 2 of them have been in fourth grade. 4th grade is such an amazing age for kids...they are still young and sweet but are ready to start being more independent and finding their own way. I love teaching math and science and hope to pass that love on to my students.
My family consists of my husband, Garry who was disabled with a brain injury in a car wreck in March 2009. He has come a long way and continues to make improvements. I love using him as an example of hard work, perseverance and helmet safety for my students. We have a daughter, Ashley, who goes to school in Tomball and a black lab named Naughty that we treat like a child. If you are wondering, yes, he lives up to his name. My husband and I have season tickets to the Texans and are looking forward to a great year cheering them on. Go Texans!
Parents, please feel free to email me at email@example.com. You may also want to sign up for Remind101. The information will go out in Tuesday Folders or you can contact me to get the information. Both Ms. Barranco and I will be sending you periodic text reminders about upcoming events. Check out the 4th grade webpage for more detailed information under Academics on the MES Homepage.
