Hi, my name is Angela Ward and I teach 4th grade math. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies from Stephen F. Austin State University in 1997. Ax 'em Jacks!
2017-2018 will be my 21st year teaching, all but 2 of them have been in fourth grade. 4th grade is such an amazing age for kids...they are still young and sweet but are ready to start being more independent and finding their own way. I love teaching math and hope to pass that love on to my students.
My family consists of my husband, Garry who was disabled with a brain injury in a car wreck in March 2009. He has come a long way and continues to make improvements. I love using him as an example of hard work, perseverance and helmet safety for my students. We have a daughter, Ashley, who goes to school in Tomball and two black labs named Naughty and Brutus that we treat like a child. My husband and I have season tickets to the Texans and are looking forward to a great year cheering them on. Go Texans!
Parents, please feel free to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. You may also want to sign up for Remind101. The information will go out in Tuesday Folders. Check out the 4th grade webpage for more detailed information under Academics on the MES Homepage.
